Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act

November 23, 2006   After the completion of the Citizens' Assembly's work, this web site has been maintained by the Ministry of Attorney General as an ongoing resource on electoral reform.   The Ministry has received a request under section 29 of the Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act from Dr. A.N.T. Varzeliotis, in which he requested that the registry of written submissions be amended to reflect that he is associated with the organization 'Alcyone News". These corrections were made on Oct. 20 2006.  Dr. Varzeliotis submitted a total of 44 submissions to the Citizens' Assembly, which the Assembly has catalogued into 18 entries. These entries may be viewed by searching either under Dr. Varzeliotis' name or under Alcyone News.
